Team Leaf secured the $4,000 first prize at the spring 2021 ideaLabs pitch competition, hosted by the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium.
The winning team comprised five individuals: Evan Haug (presenter), Mohamed Mahmoud, Cooper Reif, Kehley Coleman, and Asya Orhan. The team developed a solar design assistant intended to improve the efficiency of commercial solar panel installation engineers.
Team Leaf earned the invitation to ideaLabs by winning the 2021 PitchCWRU competition earlier that spring. The team was part of the Great Lakes Energy Institute's ThinkEnergy Fellowship Program.
The ideaLabs competition was organized by the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium, a collaborative network of eleven regional universities across Ohio and surrounding areas.
Thank you to the EEC and everyone who supported us at ideaLabs.
